Management strategies: viewing organizations with human sense
The dynamics of business environments require the implementation of management strategies that can
provide timely responses to scenarios which implies organizational adaptation to environment demands.
Accordingly, Francés (2010) claims that when managerial strategies are considered, a deliberate action
plan is aimed based on a company’s competitive advantage, by multiplying its market opportunity.
In this regard, Serna (2008), claims that a management strategy, involves a plan of action derived from
a strategic planning process; where those who make decisions in an organization may obtain, process and
analyze relevant internal and external information, in order to evaluate the current company situation, as
well as its competitiveness with the main purpose of anticipating and deciding on the company´s
addressing plans into the future, leveraging on satisfying needs with high quality products and services
(Arrieta, Gómez, Corrales and Araujo, 2016 and Prieto, Burgos, García and Rincon, 2016).
That is why, when the organizations’ mission, vision, values, objectives, and plansare established,
the decision criteria must be focused on human dimensions, in addition to economic, social, political and
cultural factors, among others. In other words, to consider the human being as an important support
within the company. In this regard, Guédez (2006) states that, the organizations’ management process in
which administrative roles are fulfilled such as: planning, organization, direction and control executed
with a human vision, where the worker can develop his /her individual dimensions, as a subject that feels
and thinks, is appropriated.
As it is expressed above, the new managerial approaches highlight that people assessment in their
work environment, help the applied management strategies to have an organization with a more dialogical,
critical, supportive and human organizational climate. In this regard, Rodríguez and Suárez (2016) say,
that within key factors to achieve the organization objectives, management to assess human aspect as a
constant in human coexistence must be incorporated.
That means then, it is relevant to design more humane companies, with spaces of interaction, vindicating
the integral essence of the humanistic character, supported with premises of being, knowing, doing and
coexisting harmoniously, considering affective, spiritual, cognitive aspects of human beings which make
life in their business community
In this way, more humane organizations are consolidated, without losing the economic- financial
