Distorsiones cognitivas y conducta antisocial delictiva: una revisión sistemática

El objetivo del presente estudio fue identificar la relación entre las distorsiones cognitivas (DC) y la conducta delictiva (CD) mediante una revisión sistemática, utilizando la estrategia PICO. La población incluyó adolescentes, jóvenes y adultos de ambos sexos, artículos publicados entre el 01 de enero de 2000 y el 31 de diciembre de 2024 en las bases de datos APA PsycArticles, BioMed Central, ProQuest Central, PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scopus, SpringerLink y Web of Science. Se utilizaron como criterios de búsqueda: conducta antisocial, conducta delictiva, conducta criminal, distorsiones cognitivas y distorsiones cognitivas autosirvientes (DCA), combinados mediante los operadores booleanos AND y OR. Se identificaron 3581 registros; tras la eliminación de duplicados y la aplicación de criterios de inclusión y exclusión, se evaluaron 105 textos completos, de los cuales 24 cumplieron con los criterios establecidos. Los resultados permitieron identificar cinco tipos de relación entre DC y CD: correlacional, predictiva, mediada por una tercera variable, como neutralizadora de la culpa y como factor discriminante; estas categorías no son excluyentes sino complementarias. Algunos estudios reportaron mayor incidencia en hombres, mientras que otros no evidenciaron diferencias por sexo. No se encontró que la edad fuera una variable determinante en la relación entre las variables de estudio. Los hallazgos resaltan la necesidad de fortalecer los estudios longitudinales, incorporar variables mediadoras en programas de intervención y prevención, aplicar enfoques diferenciados y utilizar esta evidencia para el diseño de políticas públicas orientadas al control y prevención del delito.
