Resumen

Objetivo: comparar la percepción de los consumidores en Colombia y México sobre las dimensiones reflexión y capacidad de respuesta en el marco de la innovación responsable, para determinar su influencia en la valoración de las prácticas innovadoras de las empresas de la industria de la moda en ambos países. Método: se realizó un estudio cuantitativo en el que se recopilaron datos a través de un cuestionario en línea aplicado a 828 participantes distribuidos entre Colombia y México. La comprobación de las hipótesis se realizó utilizando varias técnicas estadísticas como Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling, análisis de correlaciones y análisis multigrupo mediante permutaciones. Resultados: se confirmó una relación directamente proporcional con intensidad alta entre las dimensiones reflexión y capacidad de respuesta, siendo la reflexión la que presenta una mayor correlación con la innovación responsable. Además, se demostró que esta relación es más fuerte en Colombia que en México, aunque en ambos países se mantiene positiva. Discusiones: en la innovación responsable, la reflexión es relevante, pues los consumidores perciben que las empresas alinean sus valores éticos y actúan con transparencia. Asimismo, la capacidad de respuesta es fundamental, ya que facilita la adaptación a las demandas del consumidor. Conclusiones: las empresas, especialmente del sector moda, deben integrar la innovación responsable como estrategia permanente, priorizando la reflexión antes de tomar acciones de respuesta ante los desafíos del mercado.
