Abstract

Objective: This article aims to establish the types of capabilities cataloged as dynamic (CD) and analyze the links that conceptually connect them. Methods: A systematic literature review and a conceptual analysis were carried out to determine the types of dynamic capabilities and their relationship. Results: Seven types of dynamic capabilities important to organizations were unified and defined: 1) detection capabilities (CDE), 2) integration and coordination capabilities (CIC), 3) reconfiguration capabilities (CR), 4) learning capabilities (CAP), 5) innovation capabilities (CI), 6) partnership capabilities (CA), and 7) management and leadership capabilities (CGL). Discussions: The conceptual relationships among the constructs identified were proposed, which helped prove that these capabilities supplement and strengthen each other. Conclusions: The results are a fundamental input for the business sector because organizations could identify and apply the dynamic capabilities, and a basis for its scientific study could be provided.
