Herramienta software para la gestión de vuelo de un dron en la supervisión de fachadas externas de edificios

Resumen
Actualmente, monitorear las fachadas de los edificios es una tarea que requiere inspecciones extensivas en amplias áreas de trabajo, trabajando en diferentes alturas y condiciones climáticas diversas. Para abordar este reto, este trabajo propone el desarrollo de un software llamado DroneFaçade para manejar el vuelo de un dron, generar una imagen mosaico de una fachada de un edificio y proveer el correspondiente reporte de la misión de inspección. Esto permite un monitoreo continuo y el registro del estado de la fachada a lo largo del tiempo. DroneFaçade fue desarrollado en 4 módulos a saber configuración, ejecución, procesamiento de datos y generación de reportes. El flujo operativo de DroneFaçade incluye 3 fases: primero, el módulo de configuración es usado para introducir los way-points, llenar información de la misión, la planificación de trayectoria y los sensores a usar; segundo, el módulo de ejecución se conecta con el dron, entonces la misión de vuelo puede iniciar, y también la adquisición de datos; finalmente, los módulos de procesamiento de datos y reportes pueden calcular la imagen mosaico usando las imágenes previamente almacenadas en una base de datos SQL, y los usuarios pueden generar un reporte PDF de la misión. Pruebas cuantitativas fueron desarrolladas para medir la precisión de la imagen mosaico de DroneFaçade. Como resultado, la imagen mosaico calculada tiene bajos errores estructurales, preserva la congruencia de fase y la magnitud de los gradientes de la imagen, mantiene alta correlación y una similaridad de apariencia de hasta el 92.6% con respecto a la escena real.
