Análisis DEA Seis Sigma para evaluar la eficiencia financiera y de ventas de las empresas del Sector Químico de Barranquilla

Resumen
Objetivo: Realizar un análisis integrado a la evaluación de eficiencia financiera y de ventas, así como de Seis Sigma a 52 empresas de productos químicos del departamento del Atlántico que se encuentran registradas en la Cámara de comercio de Barranquilla (Colombia). Metodología: El método implementado fue el Análisis Envolvente de Datos (DEA), que se apoyó en el cálculo de métricas estadísticas Seis Sigma. Resultados: Se encontró que 7 empresas alcanzaron el 100% de eficiencia. Además, en términos generales, la eficiencia técnica promedio del grupo empresarial alcanzó un nivel de 74,25 %. Los indicadores hallados mediante Seis Sigma de Defectos por partes por millón (DPMO) fueron de 865384, lo cual se traduce a un nivel Z de 0,4, estando por debajo de lo esperado, con un rendimiento de 13,47%. Conclusiones: Se aportó al sector químico y a la comunidad científica una estructura de evaluación de la eficiencia financiera y de ventas apoyada en Seis Sigma.
