Review of concepts: Pregnancy in adolescents and experience in prenatal control

Abstract
Background: Review research on adolescent pregnancy concepts and experience of pregnant adolescents at the time of attending prenatal care in health institutions, by health professionals (doctor, nurse), in the promotion and prevention program.
Methods: Qualitative study under the documentary approach; through which research and study related to the subject were reviewed.
Discussion: During the process of documentary review, it was evidenced that young women in gestation at the time of attending a health care institution, show a series of feelings ranging from emotion to fear, because of the state in which they find themselves.
Conclusion: This is why the importance of insisting on early adolescent pregnancy care through adequate prenatal control, carried out by trained professionals in the care of adolescents reduces the biological risk for both the mother and the newborn.
